About me

Stina Melanton
Visual Artist 

Resides in Sweden, Strängnäs near Stockholm.
Trained at the Stockholm Academy of Art, Painting section 1977-82.
I have exhibited my artwork in Stockholm and in numerous other 
locations in Sweden. In the course of my career I have carried out 
four public commissions, amongst these one in the Government 
building in Stockholm.
I have worked as a project manager and teacher at my own 
creative projects in cooperation with the Stockholm Cultural 
Capital of Europe 1998 and as County Artist (target group young people). 
I have also worked as a creative facilitator for organisations.
